70th Precinct Bids Farewell to Deputy Inspector Gregory Mackie After 25 Years of Service

On Wednesday, members of the NYPD 70th Precinct, along with colleagues, friends, and community members, gathered to honor Deputy Inspector Gregory Mackie as he officially retired after 25 years of distinguished service.
A formal “walkout” ceremony was held outside the precinct, with officers, colleagues, and friends lining up to salute and celebrate the respected inspector. The event was filled with emotion, gratitude, and well-wishes as Deputy Inspector Mackie took his final walk through the precinct he helped lead with professionalism and commitment.
