A Man Climbs the Brooklyn Bridge causing Heavy Traffic Delays

A man climbed the Brooklyn Bridge this morning, shutting down two lanes of traffic during the morning rush.

Police responded around 7:15 am and found the person high up climbing the cables. 

Officers retrieved the 20-year-old man which was then taken to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.

Two Brooklyn-bound lanes of the bridge were closed for an hour during the police investigation causing heavy delays even after it was reopened.
