Aleksander Rebbe to Visit New York This Week

With great excitement, Aleksander Chassidim in America received the news of the final details of the Rebbe Shlit”a’s planned visit to the Unites States for close to two weeks, which will include multiple family simchos, and numerous events around Boro Park.

The Aleksander Rebbe, Rab Yisroel Tzvi Yair Danziger is a direct, 7^th generation, descendant of the first Aleksander Rebbe, Rav Yechiel Danziger zt”l, and of his successors at the helm of this illustrious dynasty.

He leads the court in Bnei Brak, having succeeded his father, Rebbe Avrohom Menachem, who rebuilt the court following the Holocaust and was niftar in 2005.

Among his illustrious sons in law is Rav Amrom Klein, the son of Haga’on Rav Menashe Klein, zt”l, who will be marrying off a son on Wednesday of Parshas Noach in Ateres Chaya. The Rebbe will arrive on Tuesday, and begin the visit with a yohrtzeit Tish for his ancestor, the “Tiferes Shmuel (Rav Shmuel Tzvi)” of Aleksander, in Beis Esther Hall, on Tuesday evening at 7:00. 

Shabbos Sheva Brachos will be spent in Boro Park, and on Sunday, the Rebbe will attend the wedding of his niece, the daughter of his brother, Rav Shneur Zalman, the Aleksander Rebbe of Cleveland.  

The following Shabbos will be a Shabbos Hisachdus for the chassidim in America, together with the Rebbe, at the Crown Plaza in Stamford.

He will depart from Boro Park on Sunday of Parshas Veyera, leaving behind joy and inspiration among the American community.
