BDE: Boro Park Bids Farewell to Four Women from Community

We regret to inform you of the passing of four precious souls from within the Boro Park community who have left our midst in the last day. 

• Mrs. Rivka Leitman, a”h, lived on 53rd Street. Her husband had a watch repair service for many years in the basement of their home. She was 81 years of age. The Levaya will take place at 2:30 this afternoon at Shomrei Hadas Chapels. To watch it live click here. 

• Mrs. Leah Spierer, a”h, nee Grunhut was nifteres overnight. She was part of the Viener Kehillah in Boro Park for many years. She was 87 years of age. The Levaya is now taking place at Shomrei Hadas. To watch it live click here.

 • Mrs. Gitty Herzog, a”h, was the wife of ybl”ch, Reb Aaron Herzog, and a part of the Emunas Yisroel Kehillah. She was 61 years of age. The Levaya is taking place in front of Emunas Yisroel at 1:45pm. 

• Mrs. Esther Yehudis Waldman, a”h, was part of the Kavunas Halev Kehillah. She was the daughter of Reb Yaakov Friedman, z”l, a shochet, and the wife of Reb Yitzchok Eizik Waldman. The Levaya took place at 10:15 at Kavunas Halev on 43rd Street.
