by YS Gold
We regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Abramczyk, a”h, a resident of Boro Park for more than seventy years. She was 105 years of age.
The nifteres was born in Dukla, in Galicia in the year 1918. Her parents were the Freifeld’s, who were ardent Bluzever chassidim.
Life in Dukla was idyllic. But it did not last for long. When the war came, Adele was hidden by goyim. But she was eventually forced out of her hiding place and into a forced labor camp where she endured much suffering.
Following the war, she came to Boro Park. Together with her husband, she was among the founders of the Radomsker shtiebel in Boro Park, and the Abramczyk’s remained pillars of the shtiebel for decades.
She dedicated her life to Chessed, and was deeply involved and active in Kupas Rabi Meir Baal Haness-Kollel Polin, as well as in Nshei Poalei Agudas Yisroel.
She was zoche to establish beautiful Torah generation who remain an everlasting legacy, and a true revenge from the resha’im who robbed her of so much from during the war.
The levaya took place in Lakewood on Thursday morning, and kevurah is in Eretz Yisroel.
Yehi zichra baruch.
