BDE: Mrs. Baila Yehudis Kupetz, a”h

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Beila Yehudis Kupetz, a”h, a matriarch of a prominent Torah family and a longtime Boro Park resident. She was 93 years of age. 

The nifteres was born to her father, Rav Yisachar Feichenfeld who hailed from a long and prominent line of Rabbonim in Posen, formerly the position of Rav Akiva Eiger. 

Along with her brother, she made it out of Europe on the last ship and went on to build an illustrious family along with her husband, Rav Pesach Kupetz, a well-known Talmid Chochom who served as a maggid shiur in Mesivta Eitz Chaim d'Bobov and English principal in the Bobover Yeshiva, and is remembered the Bobover chassidus with great fondness. 

The levaya took place this morning at 10:00 at the Amshinover shtiebel on 15th Avenue.
