BoroPark24 is deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Chaya Yitta Gross, a”h, a phenomenal ba’alas chessed and lifelong Boro Park resident. She was 51 years of age.

She was born in Boro Park to Reb Moshe Aaron and Gittel Raiza Rosenberg, and was raised in a home permeated with Torah, chessed, and tzedakah.

She was married to Reb Yaakov Yosef Gross, a well-known ba’al chessed and ba’al tzedakah, and she was known as a tremendous ba’alas chessed and ba’alas tzedakah in her own right.

The nifteres was stricken with a ravaging illness about two years ago, and she battled it valiantly. Throughout her ordeal, she shone with her emunah and bitochon that astounded all those around her. She was always optimistic that she would recover, and never lost her smile. Alas, she was called to Shomayim on Tuesday afternoon.

The Levaya took place at the Klausenberger Beis Medrash, as the family are ardent Klausenberger chassidim.

The nifteres was eulogized by the Klausenberger Rebbe, Rav Yosef Paneth, Rov of the family, Rav Elozor Nissan Rubin, her husband Reb Yaakov Yosef, and her sons and sons-in-law.

She was laid to rest on the Klausenberger chelkah in New Jersey.

Yehi zichra baruch.
