BDE: Mrs. Goldie Laundau, a"h

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Golda Mindel (Goldie) Laundau, a longtime Boro Park resident and a matriarch of a beautiful Torah family. She was 67 years of age, and had been unwell in recent years. 

The nifteres was born in Petach Tikvah. Her father was an esteemed Gerer chossid by the name of Reb Shloime Frankel. She was raised in an atmosphere of Torah and chassidus, a spirit which she would pass down to her children and grandchildren. 

The nifteres was married to R' Ephraim Menachem Laundau, a prominent Gerer chossid, and major patron of Gerer institutions around the world. Together, they established beautiful generations. 

She was known for her exceptional warmth to all, and her home was open to all with incredible hachnosas orchim. She had a smile for all her many guests, and was known for her simchas hachaim. 

Sadly, Mrs. Laundau was stricken with illness in recent years, and was nifteres on Monday.
