BDE: Mrs. Miriam Beila Sheinfeld, a”h

We are saddened to inform you of the petirah of Mrs. Sheinfeld, a descendant of great luminaries of the Chassidic movement. She was 94 years of age. 

The nifteres was born to her father, Rebbe Yissachar Berish Halperin, the Beitcher Rov, in the year 1926, in the town of Beitch, in Galicia. She was a fourth-generation descendant of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz, and of the Imrei No’aom of Dzikov.

The family endured the horrors of the Holocaust and emerged determined to rebuild. 

Miriam married R’ Chaim Avrohom Sheinfeld who served for many years as the Rov of Chester, Pennsylvania, and was known for his love of disseminating Torah and helping people. He was niftar in 1998. 

The nifteres imbued in her family a pride for their illustrious yichus, and never forgot these roots. She leaves behind a Torah family and a beautiful legacy. 

The levaya will take place in Shomrei Hadas at 11:00 this morning, and she will be interred alongside her family members in the Chelkas Ha’admorim in Wellwood Cemetery.
