BDE: Mrs. Rochel Breuer, a”h

We are saddened to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Breuer, a”h, a matriarch of a prominent Torah family, and pillar of the Viener Kehillah for decades. 

She was a Holocaust survivor, and married Reb Mordechai Breuer of Serdahel. 

Tragedy struck when her husband was niftar motzei shiva asar b’Tammuz in a shocking and sudden manner, leaving behind a young widow, with a home full of orphans. 

She valiantly stood up to the challenge, and proceeded to raise her children and marry them off—each building beautiful Torah homes.  

Her two sons are Rav Binyomin Breuer, the dayan of Khal Zichron Yehuda —Vien Boro Park, and Reb Avrum is one of the Roshei Kehillah of Adas Yereim Vien Boro Park 

The Levaya took place at the Viener Beis Medrash on Lee Avenue.
