BDE: Mrs. Tzurtel Meisels, a”h, Victim of Accident Years ago

We are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Meisels. She was forty years of age, and was the victim of a horrific accident while in Eretz Yisroel years ago. 

She was the daughter of Rabbi and Mrs. Chaim Hersh Gold, and was raised in Boro Park. She was married to Reb Mordechai Meisels, from a prominent Bobover family, a beloved member of the Me’or Hatefillah community of Rabbi Paneth. 

The nifteres supported her husband in every way, as he made his way in the world of askonus, in Yad Ephraim and in other organizations—always encouraging and supporting his work. She was known as a ba’alas chessed in her own right. 

In the winter of 2018, the Meisels were on a trip to Eretz Yisroel, where the nifteres was the victim of an accident, and fell into a coma. 

Family, friends, and Klal Yisroel galvanized with tefillos for Tzurtel Bas Esther Malka. She sadly returned her soul to her Creator this morning, after three years in a coma. 

This loss has hit particularly hard for the family, and for the many friends of the Meisels who have come to know and admire Reb Mordechai’s chessed for so many. 

The levaya will take place at 12:45 from the Bobover beis medrash on 48th Street.
