BDE: Reb Asher Anshil Goldberger, z”l

We regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Asher Anshel Goldberger, z”l, a longtime Boro Park resident. He was in his eighties, and learned with diligence until his last days. 

He was born to his father, Reb Yitzchok Goldberger of Debrecen who survived the war along with a few of his children. 

Reb Asher Anshel was privileged to be an attendant in the home of the Satmar Rebbe during the 1950’s.  

He was a great Talmid Chochom, and learned with diligence until his last days. 

Together with a partner, he paid for the first printing of the Satmar Rebbe’s Al HaGeulah v’al haTemurah. 

He leaves this world having established a beautiful Torah family. 

The levaya took place at the Tosher Beis Medrash in Boro Park at 10:45 this morning.
