BDE: The Toltshover Rebbe, zt"l

We regret to inform you of the passing of Rav Yehoshua Tzvi Jungreis, ABD Toltshova, who passed away early this morning at the age of 75, following an illness, and decades of serving as a distinguished rov in the Boro Park community. 

The niftar was the son of Rav Elozor Aryeh Jungreis, ABD Tchenger, and teh son in law of Rav Yoel Heimlich, ABD Wegsheid. He traced his yichus to the legendary Menuchas Osher of Tchenger, and to many other tzaddikim. 

For close to forty years, the Rebbe led his beis medrash, Be'er Yitzchok-Toltshava, on 39th Street in Boro Park. The shul was named for the Rebbe's illustrious ancestor, the Toltshava Rebbe who authored the sefer Be'er Yitzchok. He also published the seforim of his illustrious grandfather. 

The Rebbe suffered from illness in recent years, until his passing this morning, leaving behind beautful Torah generations, and illustrious children who serve as marbitzei Torah in various communities. Among his brothers are, ybl"ch, the Admorim of Gorlice and Niklosburg, shlit"a. 

The levaya will take place at 12:00 noon at the Toltshava Beis Medrash on 39th Street.
