BDE: Tragic Petirah of 6-Month-Old Alter Avrohom Spira, z”l

It is with deep sadness and regret that we report on the passing of the young son of a Boro Park couple, Alter Avrohom Spira, z”l, at the age of six months. 

He was the child of R’ Nosson Nota and Malka Sarah Spira, members of the Belzer Kehillah of Boro Park. 

Alter Avrohom was found unconscious during a visit to his grandparents in Montreal. Klal Yisroel stormed the Heavens for his recovery, but, alas, his pure neshamah was called to learn Torah with the Ribbono shel Olam in the Yeshiva shel Maalah. 

His heroic parents courageously accepted the gezeirah, thanking the community for their tefillos, and acknowledging the Ribbono shel Olam’s plan for their precious child. 

The levaya took place at Har Shulem Cemetery in Airmont on Monday afternoon, where a somber crowd of family, friends, and fellow Belzer chassidim came to escort this young and pure soul to its final resting place.
