Yesterday's election results were tallied last night by the Board of Elections.

City Council seat winners include incumbent Councilman Kalman Yeger's decided victory over Heshy Tischler. Yeger won with 80% of the votes (7,362 votes) as compared to Tischler's 18.4% (1,692 votes) for the 44th Council District. This includes Bensonhurst, Borough Park, Midwood, and Ocean Parkway. 

In Council District 43, which includes Bensonhurst, Borough Park, and Sunset Park, Democrat Susan Zhuang was victorious over Republican Ying Tan and Conservative Vito J. LaBella.

Both ballot proposals passed, including Proposal 1, which was an amendment for the Removal of Small City School Districts From Special Constitutional Debt Limitation, and Proposal 2, which was an amendment for Extending Sewage Project Debt Exclusion From Debt Limit.
