Breaking: 3-Alarm Fire Erupts on Ft. Hamilton Parkway

JUST IN: NYPD, assisted by Shomrim, arrested a suspect in connection with today’s 3-alarm fire on Fort Hamilton Parkway, on suspicion of arson.

A three-alarm fire broke out at a building located at the intersection of Fort Hamilton Parkway and 53rd Street, sending thick plumes of smoke and visible flames into the sky and drawing a large emergency response.

Firefighters rushed to the scene shortly after the blaze was reported, working to contain the fire as it spread through parts of the structure. 

Emergency crews are actively battling the blaze, and nearby streets have been closed to traffic as firefighters operate. 

At this time, there is no confirmed information regarding injuries or the cause of the fire. Authorities are expected to conduct an investigation once the situation is under control.
