Brooklyn DOB Offers New, Weekly Consultations to Help Residents Complete Construction Projects

 “Homeowners, tenants, building managers, and small business owners, do you have construction projects going that you need to complete?” Ken Lazer from the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) asked at Community Board 12’s Thursday night meeting.

 To provide advice on residents’ construction projects that are in-the-works, the DOB is offering a new program called, “Buildings After Hours,” on Tuesdays from 4 to 7pm.

 “Our doors are open to help you at night,” said Lazer, who said the Brooklyn DOB’s office is located at 210 Joralemon St.

 NYC residents do not need appointments to come meet with plan examiners,” the DOB representative told Community Board 12.

 “You can just come in and meet with a plan examiner, and you can discuss anything, and hopefully resolve your issues.”
