Captured Moment: Beis HaKnesses Livnei Yisroel
YS GOLD
This week’s captured moment takes us to Twelfth Avenue where a Shul existed for many decades, even as it changed hands. In 1940, when this photograph was captured, it was called Beis HaKnesses Livnei Yisroel—but it was known in recent years for different occupants.
The building has since been torn down, and a new building has been erected in its place.
Can any of our readers identify the location of this ancient shul.
