Captured Moment: The Cemetery in Boro Park

This week’s captured moment takes us to the outskirts of Boro Park where a cemetery has existed for close to 200 years. Washington Cemetery is an exclusively Jewish cemetery that has been a place of burial for New York’s Jews for close to two centuries.

The Pressburger yeshiva office was located at 5214 13th Avenue where one can see the unique architecture on the façade of the second floor. Today, it serves as the home of Super 13 supermarket.
