This week’s captured moment takes us to the outskirts of Boro Park where Shomrei Hadas used to be located. Many Boro Park residents will remember when the funeral parlor used to be at this location, until it moved to 14th Avenue.

As so many of our readers correctly identified, the location of Congregation Tifereth Israel is today the Skverer Shul and the Viznitz-Yerushalayimer Shul. It was previously also Rabbi Kleinman’s shul, and as we have noted, distinguished rabbonim served at the help of this congregation throughout the decades.
