This week’s captured moment takes us to an industrial building near the outskirts of Boro Park as it appeared in 1940. The building, which still stands today, has become a yeshiva in recent years, and is the home of one of Boro Park’s fastest-growing mosdos.

As a number of our readers have correctly pointed out, the maternity hospital in question was Dr. Phillip Mininberg’s institution, which has served as the home of Bais Yaakov of Boro Park High School for decades before becoming a Satmar girls school.
