Captured Moment: The Maternity Hospital

One year ago, we featured the maternity hospital on 15th Avenue. This year, we feature the same location from a different angle. The photograph, taken in the 1930’s, shows policemen gathered outside the building, and a ladder placed on the building by the local fire department. 

Can our readers pinpoint the location of this building which still stands?

Answer to the previous captured moment: 

The supermarket in question was located on the corner of 15th Avenue and 42nd Street. It has served as the home of ABC discount for close to forty years. Still in business, the store is loaded with goods which Boro Park residents flock to buy at discount prices.
