Central Hatzolah Holds Event Recognizing Senator Simcha Felder’s Assistance to Organization

Central Hatzolah, the umbrella body bringing together all Hatzolah organizations in the United States, held an event on Wednesday bringing together its Executive Board, coordinators, and elected officials to pay tribute to State Senator Simcha Felder for his decades of dedication to the Hatzolah organization.  

Wednesday’s event specifically shone the spotlight on Senator Felder’s dedication in helping Hatzolah procure a strategically-located garage at 14th Avenue and 37th Street, on Boro Park’s outer edge. 

Rabbi Yechiel Kalish, CEO of Central Hatzolah told Boropark24 about the exceptional good fortune that we have in our representation in Sen. Felder, as well as his indefatigable partners in public service: 

“For those fortunate enough to have homes, businesses or mosdos in Boro Park, we are blessed with excellent governmental representation. From Councilman Yeger to Assemblyman Eichenstein and Senator Felder, they work as a chut hameshulash (a powerful trio) to address the daily needs of their constituents. We took the time yesterday to thank Senator Felder, because he deserves the hakaras haTov as do the other two–always.” 

Councilman Yeger was indeed present at this event, and told Boropark24: “I’m so honored to join Hatzolah in recognizing Senator Simcha Felder’s lifelong commitment.  Simcha’s support of Hatzolah is just one small part of how hard he works to make our community stronger and safer.  Few fight as hard as Simcha to deliver for our neighborhoods, and as one of his successors in the City Council, I see the strength of his work every day.”
