Citing Exponential Growth, Shmira Expands in Community

A grand celebration of appreciation and a ribbon-cutting event took place last night in the outskirts of Boro Park, at the Dyker Beach Golf Course as the Shmira organization has made numerous hires and purchased a number of new vehicles due to exponential growth in recent months.
The organization unveiled seven new vehicles—two for Boro Park, one for Flatbush, one for Queens— and one for Staten Island. Additionally 2 more cars for Flatbush that will be outfitted in the coming days, in order to address the volume of calls that have been coming in.
To accommodate the call volume, the organization has also inducted 20 new members for the Boro Park division plus 10 new Shabos patrol units, in addition 33 Shmira members received there SAR training certificates.
