Communicated: Klal Yisroel Stands United!

This is a historic moment for the frum community in New York City. Nearly every kehillah has come together in full unity to endorse Andrew Cuomo for mayor.
We all  remember the painful days of COVID when our community suffered deeply from harsh state restrictions. Yeshivos and mosdos haTorah became targets and endured fines and investigations under Cuomo’s administration.
So the question is clear. Why are so many yeshivos and leaders now endorsing Cuomo?
The answer is simple. Askanim from across the city sat down to carefully evaluate the current election. After a thorough and thoughtful discussion, they reached a clear conclusion.
Mayor Eric Adams has been a true friend to the Jewish community. However, he is not running in this primary and therefore cannot be voted for at this time.
More concerning is that the next leading candidate in this race is a far-left radical. Zohran Mamdani has shown support for extreme positions and groups. His record shows clear hostility toward the Jewish people and their values. We cannot afford to stay silent or passive. Not voting for Cuomo or staying home gives Mamdani a greater chance to win and brings New York City closer to electing a mayor who stands against everything we believe in.

Andrew Cuomo is the only candidate with a real chance of winning who also understands our community and has strong, long-standing ties with it. Many still remember the years when Cuomo served as governor of New York. During that time, the frum community had a direct line to his office. Countless issues were resolved, and many favors were done both for individuals and for the tzibbur.

That is the honest and straightforward reason why Mosdos HaTorah across the board have united behind Andrew Cuomo.

Do what is right for yourself, your family, and the future. In a time of challenge, standing together is the only option.
