Dozens of Prominent Business Leaders Gather for Elegant "Segol" Event in Boro Park
This past Thursday night, an atmosphere of inspiration filled the Boro Park home of the esteemed Reb Pinchas Wilhelm as he hosted a prestigious business event for "Segol." The gathering brought together dozens of successful local entrepreneurs and executives to discuss a shared mission: achieving business excellence without the distractions of a smartphone.
Throughout the evening, notable business owners, institutional directors, and community leaders shared their personal experiences. The consensus was unanimous—adopting the "Segol" approach has led to greater clarity, smoother operations, and a renewed "culture of focus" within their organizations.
The event featured two keynote speakers:
- Reb Chaim Meir Framowitz: Administrator of the Vien institutions in Boro Park. He shared insights on managing a sprawling operation—including dozens of employees and bus drivers—entirely without smartphones.
- Reb Duvid Kaufman (Dart Media): Outlined the strategic vision of Segol and presented exciting plans for the organization’s future growth.
The evening concluded with an emotional and spirited dance, reflecting the high level of energy and shared purpose in the room.
The Segol organization has seen remarkable growth, now boasting over 1,000 members, including business owners and managers. With successful events already held in Lakewood, Boro Park, Monsey, and Kiryas Joel, Segol continues its mission to unite business leaders committed to a smartphone-free professional life. The event was a true Kiddush Hashem, leaving participants determined to expand this vital movement.
