Fatal Accident on McDonald Avenue: U-Haul Van Crashes into Subway Beam

A devastating collision occurred on McDonald Avenue near Avenue J, Sunday evening, resulting in the death of the U-Haul van's driver. The passenger suffered critical injuries.

Emergency responders ffrom Hatzalah, EMS, FDNY, and NYPD rushed to the scene, extricating both occupants from the severely damaged vehicle.

Misaskim was not needed at the scene.

The NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad is currently investigating the incident, with the roadway remaining closed to traffic.
