Garage Fire Breaks Out Overnight on 45th Street

A car garage caught fire early morning in a backyard near 45th Street and 11th Avenue, prompting a swift response from the FDNY.

The fire broke out at around 3:15 a.m., with heavy flames visible from the garage. Firefighters arrived quickly and worked to contain the blaze, which also involved a vehicle inside the structure.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire before it spread to nearby homes. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has not yet been released, and the incident remains under investigation.
