Hatzalah Volunteer’s Vehicle Stolen Friday Afternoon Minutes Before Zman

A vehicle belonging to a Hatzalah volunteer was stolen Friday afternoon, minutes before the Zman Shabbos from outside the Boro Park Center on 10th Avenue and 49th Street.

The volunteer ran into the Center to drop something off around 7:30pm, and upon returning outside noticed his car was missing.

The vehicle had thousands of dollars worth of emergency equipment inside. The vehicle owner said his Talis and Tefilin was thankfully not in the vehicle.

A police report has been made, and Shomrim released a poster that anyone with information on the vehicle, a 2022 black Toyota Highlander with license plate number VAS-6, should reach out with the information.
