International Travelers May Fly into the US Again: After Almost Two Years

International travelers from more than 30 counties are once again welcome to visit the US, starting today, after a pandemic travel ban barred any tourists from entering the country for almost two years.

Inbound tourists, who are not American citizens will, once again, be welcomed in the U.S., however, travelers must show proof of vaccination and negative COVID-19 tests that were taken three days prior to their departures.

In addition, contact tracing will be stepped up.

As not all countries have yet approved COVID-19 vaccines for children, international travelers under the age of 18 are exempted from the new regulations to enter the US.

American travelers should be warned that the move will mean fuller flights and longer lines at check points, Port Authority officials said.

On Monday, Nov. 15, the United States is also opening its land borders with Mexico and Canada.
