Intoxicated Driver Arrested by NYPD After Accident Resulting in a Turnover Friday Night

An intoxicated driver was arrested Friday night by the NYPD after crashing into multiple vehicles which resulted in a turnover around midnight on 48th Street off 16th Ave.

The vehicle was seen driving recklessly by non-Jewish Shmira patrol units while driving around the streets. The members notified the NYPD of a reckless vehicle, but before the NYPD had arrived the vehicle crashed and turned over.

No injuries were reported, but many vehicles in the area of 48th Street were damaged as a result of the incident, and Shmira is urging the vehicle owners to file a timely police report.
