Jonathan Warren, 40, of Bedford-Stuyvesant, was apprehended by officers after 911 calls reported an “unlicensed aircraft” around 4:56 p.m.</p><p>Police from the NYPD Emergency Service Unit arrested Warren at Calvert Vaux Park in Bath Beach, approximately two miles from the bridge. He was charged with reckless endangerment and issued a desk appearance ticket.</p><p>The Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, the longest in New York City, is normally closed to pedestrians and bicyclists. The MTA has spent roughly $32 million installing safety fencing along the bridge in 2021 to prevent people from jumping, following a series of suicides in previous years.</p><p>Authorities are
