Massive Bnos Tzion D’Bobov Building Unveiled

by YS Gold

Years of rapid growth, ka”h, have necessitated that the Bnos Tzion d’Bobov girls school has long outgrown its iconic building formerly known as the Menorah Temple.

Over the decades, the school’s enrollment has grown and grown, and the mossad has had to buy up supplementary buildings, in addition to the big building on 50st known with its "Ateres Golda" hall, in other parts of Boro Park, including the former Khal Chassidim, and the GB building on 39th Street.

About two years ago, the mossad embarked on a project to build an enormous building adjacent to the current one. With miraculous speed, the project has gone on at a frenetic pace, obscured by scaffolding.

This week, the glorious building was finally unveiled and towers above the neighborhood at a height of seven stories of classroom space, recreational space, and space where students who need it can finally receive remedial help in a beautiful, spacious atmosphere. An added feature of the building is that it is connected on every floor to the existing school building—making this building one large sprawling campus for Bnos Tzion d’Bobov.

“Seeing this building go up as quickly as possible, and now nearing completion, is exhilarating, Baruch Hashem,” said a project manager of the construction. “Having this new space for the students to move in after Pesach Bezras Hashem will be a huge help to the chinuch of our future generations.”
