Neighbors Blast Construction at 54th Street for Inconvenience and Blocked Access

Residents of 54th Street between 15th and 16th Avenue are voicing their frustration over ongoing construction that has not only disrupted their daily lives but also led to severe parking and street access issues.

While the construction work is acknowledged as necessary, many neighbors feel that the current approach is causing more harm than good.

Residents reached out to BoroPark24 to express their anger over how the project has been handled. According to local accounts, the entire street and parking areas have been completely shut off, leaving residents scrambling to find alternative parking and access routes. 

“It’s like a nightmare,” one resident told BoroPark24. “We’re being punished for something that should have been managed better. There’s no reason the streets should be completely blocked off. This is causing unnecessary chaos and frustration for everyone living here.”

The community’s patience is wearing thin as they continue to deal with the fallout from the construction project. Many hope that their voices will be heard and that the necessary changes will be made to alleviate the ongoing issues.
