By Y.M. Lowy
Do you have a passion for art and graphics? NYC DOT invites high school students in grades 9-12 to participate in an exciting Work Zone Safety Billboard Competition.
This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of safety in work zones for workers, motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists.
Winning designs will appear on a billboard during National Work Zone Awareness Week in April 2025. All three winners will also receive money for their schools.
Submissions are due on Friday, January 17. For more details and to submit your design, visit the NYC DOT website.
