One Person Killed after Being Stabbed on 40th Street

A scuffle between a group of Hispanic people turned violent, and one person was killed after being stabbed on 40th Street near 13th Ave on Saturday night around 10:30pm.

A Hatzolah volunteer witnessed the stabbing and quickly tried to aid the victim who was pronounced dead after being transported to Maimonides Hospital.

The NYPD was immediately called to the scene and two suspects were placed under arrest.
