Pedestrian Killed in Accident on Ave P and West 1st St

A pedestrian was fatally struck in an accident in which two cars collided at the intersection of Ave P and West 1st St at 10:18 this morning.

The collision caused one of the vehicles to ram onto the sidewalk pinning a 65 year old male pedestrian under the vehicle.

The victim was transferred by EMS to the hospital where he was unfortunately declared dead.

Both vehicles remained on scene where NYPD is investigating the incident.

Chesed Shel Emes and Misaskim Is not needed.
