Person Pronounced Dead After Jumping Off Train Platform on New Utrecht Ave

At around 9:30pm on Wednesday the NYPD and EMS were called to the scene after a person jumped off the train station platform at New Utrecht Avenue and 56th Street.

The person, identified as a female Hispanic, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The NYPD Special Operations Unit and detectives were at the scene as well.
