President Donald J. Trump tweeted today at 2:37pm that he will be leaving Walter Reed National Military Medical Center tonight at 6:30pm.

“Feeling really good!” Trump exclaimed on Twitter. “We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”

After being tested as COVID-positive on Friday, Trump was helicoptered to Walter Reed, where doctors became concerned by his dropping oxygen levels and spiking temperature, according to multiple reports.

Physicians at Walter Reed began administering the president a variety of therapies, including an experimental cocktail of drugs, and have been impressed by his progress, the New York Post reports today.

Anthony Fauci, MD, the immunologist who has served as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984, also expressed confidence in the high level of President’s Trump care.

“My colleagues that I know, including Sean Conley, are very good physicians, and they’re very qualified, so I am really confident that the president of the United States is getting the optimal care that you can get with the team over at Walter Reed,” Dr. Fauci said.
