Say Cheese to The Street Sweepers

Apparently, putting ticket cameras on city buses isn’t enough, because now they might be coming on city street sweepers as well. 

A new bill proposed by Assemblyman Brian Cunningham from Crown Heights and co-sponsored by Assemblywoman Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn, Williamsburg Assemblywoman Maritza Davila, and Lower East Side Assemblywoman Grace Lee, would install cameras on city street sweepers that would be able to snap pictures of cars parked on Alternate Side Parking sides of the road during cleaning hours, when the curb is supposed to be clear. 

This would help keep NYC street clean, which has been a major challenge especially during the hot summer months.
