Scions of Belz and Sanz Dynasties Bring Chizuk to Boro Park
While it is surely a great boost when Admorim journey to our neighborhood, delivering chizuk and inspiration—we know that “shluchoi shel odom k’mosoi,” the messengers of great and holy figures are empowered by those who have sent them.
This past Shabbos, Boro Park had the distinction of hosting two scions of Chassidic royalty.
As we have reported previously, the Sanzer Rebbe has appointed his second son, Rav Yosef Moshe Dov Halberstam, shlit”a, as the Rov of the Sanzer community throughout the United States. He is now at the tail end of a whirlwind visit—spent Shabbosimin Williamsburg and in upstate New York, and attended multiple events in the Sanzer chassidus. This past Shabbos was an uplifted one in Boro Park –with all of the tefillos and bottes taking place at the Kerem Menachem Hall on Fort Hamilton Parkway.
On the other end of town, the second grandson of the BelzerRebbe—Rav Avorhom Shmuel Tzvi Rokeach— has been on a visit to Boro Park and other Belzer enclaves last week. This Shabbos, he divided his time between the bachurim and yungeleit of the chassidus, and hosting Shalosh Seudos for the entire Belzer community of Boro Park.
It was an uplifting inspiration to have scion of their dynasties in their midst, one that will continue to warm hearts into the winter months ahead.
