Suspect Arrested for Assaulting Storeowner During Attempted Robbery

A suspect was arrested by the NYPD with the help of Shomrim after assaulting a store owner who tried to stop him from stealing items.

The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon when the suspect entered the store along with two other perpetrators and tried to steal stuff, the store owner intervened and tried to stop them but was assaulted by one of the suspects who then fled.

The store owner immediately called Shomrim and NYPD who gave chase and arrested the suspect who assaulted the store owner just a few blocks away in 17th Avenue and 60th Street.
