Suspect Arrested for Stealing Tools Worth Over Thousand Dollars in Early AM

At around 3:45 am Monday morning,  Shomrim received a call from a keen observer who noticed a suspect rummaging inside his vehicle that was parked at Fort Hamilton Parkway and 42nd Street.

Shomrim volunteers quickly arrived to the scene and watched the suspect around the vehicle, while notifying the NYPD of the incident.

After a quick search in the vehicle, the owner noticed some of his tools missing, items worth over $1,000 in total, and they were found with the suspect, who was placed under arrest by the NYPD.
