The Spinka Rebbe is undergoing a medical procedure this morning in Manhattan.

The procedure comes after the Rebbe has been dealing with ongoing pains and medical complications in recent weeks. Following comprehensive examinations, doctors determined that this specific procedure is necessary and is expected to ease the Rebbe’s condition.

The procedure took place at 9:30 a.m. today at Cornell Hospital in Manhattan. The Rebbe is expected to recover over the coming days before returning to his home in Boro Park.
