Three Hachnosas Sifrei Torah in Boro Park Today

The streets of Boro Park will be filled with the joy of Torah today, as three different areas will celebrate the inauguration of a sefer Torah to its new home.

The Rachmastrivka chassidim are celebrating the completion of a new sefer Torah in honor of the Rebbe shlit”a. The sefer Torah was begun two years ago, and will be brought into the great Rachmastrivka Beis Medrash this afternoon.

The Viznitz-Yerushalayim chassidim will welcome a new sefer Torah to their newly-renovated beis medrash on 42nd Street at 6:00pm.

Finally, the Belzer Shtiebel on 39th street will inaugurate a new sefer Torah which was written by the mispalelim as one. The kesivas osiyos will take place in the building of the new Talmud Torah on 37th Street, from where the Torah will proceed to its new home in the shtiebel on 39th Street. A special zechus was had when the Belzer Rebbe shlit”a wrote inscribed letters into the sefer Torah.
