Brooklyn’s charedi community is in shock: mourning yet again this evening as we learn of the horrific accident that took the life of yet another beautiful sapling from within our midst.
Kalman Sofer, 23, I Williamsburg was enjoying the powdery snow on The slopes in Lowville, New York, in the upstate region.
Tragically, he lost control of the snowmobile, And crashed into a tree. He was a niftar instantly, R”l.
Kalman is remembered by scores of shocked friends and admirers as someone who would do anything for anyone in need, spiritually or materially, at any time of the day or night.
He was regularly call friends to check in on them whether they had donned Tefillin on that day, and could be found boosting cars at two, three, in the morning.
Misaskim is working in these very moments to ensure kavod hameis And to bring the niftar back to Brooklyn this evening.
As this community once again prepares to bury one of its young, we raise our eyes Heavenward with the tefillah that Hashem declare: “Enough”
