UPDATE: Fifteen-Year-Old Victim in 20th Avenue Shooting Succumbs to Wounds

UPDATE 7/18 10:15am:

The victim, identified as Foridun Maulonou, has died of his wounds in the early hours of Tuesday morning at Maimonides Hospital after being brought there in critical condition. 

The suspect is still on the loose, and is described as wearing a gray sweater, black or red sweatpants, and gray sneakers. The investigation is ongoing.

A 15-year-old has been transported to Maimonides Hospital in critical condition after he was shot on a Boro Park street. 

The shooting occurred on 20th Avenue and 62nd street where residents heard multiple shots being fired.  

Police and emergency first responders immediately responded to the scene, and the victim was listed in serious condition. 

There’s no word yet on what triggered the shooting.
