Victim Stabbed Three Times in the Stomach at 20th Avenue Subway Station

By Yehudit Garmaise

A victim, whose injuries were not life-threatening, was stabbed by three men on 20th Avenue and 64th Street, said NYPD, who reported that the perpetrators fled to directions unknown.

NYPD officers are on the scene, and they are canvassing the area to find the suspects.

At 1:30pm, the police received a report that a victim was stabbed in the stomach after a fight took place at the 20th Avenue subway station.

An ambulance transported the victim to a nearby hospital.

In Mayor Eric Adams’ first week in office in January, NYPD Commission Keechant Sewell promised to deploy hundreds more police officers to patrol and circulate within the city’s trains and subway stations to prevent and stop crime, however, crime rates have yet to come down.
