Viznitzer Chassidim Prepare to Welcome Rebbe, Celebrate Wedding in Viznitzer Court

Joy and Elevation are being felt among the Chassidim of Rebbe Yisroel of Viznitz Bnei Brak, shlit”a, who is set to arrive Monday morning for the wedding of his grandson.

Monday marks the yohrtzeit of his father, the Yeshuos Moshe of Viznitz, zt”l, and to this end the Rebbe will be beginning his visit with Shacharis at the massive Rachmastrivka Beis Medrash in Boro Park, where all the chassidim will gather for davening, a siyum, l’chaim, and submitting kvitlach to the Rebbe in honor of the day.

Monday evening, the festivities begin around the wedding of the Rebbe’s grandson, Menachem Mendel, with the “chosson mohl,” the traditional rikkudim that take place in rebbishe courts on the night before the wedding.

The chasunah will take place Tuesday night in the massive hall beneath the new Belzer Talmud Torah—a massive ballroom that is being used for numerous Rebbishe events in recent months.

The chosson is son of Rav Chaim Meir, the Rov of kiryas viznitz, and the grandson of the Nirbatur Rov of Boro Park, and the kallah is the granddaughter of Rav Yoel Aaron Friedman, the Tresifer Ruv.
