Viznitzer Rebbe of Kiamisha to Light in Boro Park Tonight

The Viznitzer Shul in Boro Park, on 53rd street and New Utrecht has been led for years by Rav Yaakov Yosef Hager, shlit”a, the Viznitz-Boro Park Rebbe, since the passing of his father. 

Upon the histalkus of Rebbe Mottele of Viznitz, all of his sons became Rebbeim, each in their own locale. 

His son, Rav Menachem Mendel, assumed the Admorus in Kiamisha Lake, where he headed the “Gibbers Yeshiva” for years. 

Tonight, he will be by hosted at the Boro Park shul for hadlokas neiros, at 7:15–while the Boro Park Rebbe will light in the Yeshiva Gedolah under his leadership in Staten Island. 

He will first be by his father-in-law, the Rachmastrivka Rebbe, shlit”a, who lights immediately following maariv, after which he will head over to Viznitz.
